Young Masters	A Call For Entries: Children between the ages of one and eighteen are invited to enter the Central California Art Association’s (CCAA) Annual Young Masters Art Show. Awards will be recognized with ribbons and art supplies. Exhibition: January 20 –February 6 , 2011

Receiving: Monday, January 17, 2011 (MLK Day) 10:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m. Entry Fee: $2.00 per piece. Limit 2 pieces per student. 20 piece limit per teacher/art specialist Exhibition: January 20 through February 6, 2011 Gallery Hours: Tuesday-Thursday 11:30 a.m.-500 p.m. - Saturday, 12-4 p.m. Reception and Awards Ceremony: Artists, family and friends are encouraged to attend the reception and ceremony on February 6, 2011 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. at Mistlin Gallery. Awards presented at 3:00 p.m. Check-out: Artwork must be picked up immediately following the awards ceremony and reception on Sunday, February 21. Artwork remaining at the gallery will be kept until February 15, 2011. All uncollected work will become property of the CCAA. Categories: 1-Ages 1 through 4 6-Painting: Ages 11 through 13 2- Ages 5 through 7 7-Color Drawing: Ages 14 through 18 3-Ages 8-10 8-Painting: Ages 14 through 18 4-Sculpture: Ages 1 through 10 9-Black and Whites: Ages 14 through 18 5-Drawings: Ages 11 through 13 10-Sculpture: Ages 11 through 18 11-photography Rules of Entry: All works must be original creations of the artist. No copies or cartoons will be accepted. All framed entries must be prepared for hanging. Unframed entries must be matted, backed with foam core or matt board and equipped with a hanging device suitable for a metal grid. No string hangers. Free “Duo tab” hangers will be available at the gallery (these hold up light-weight, unframed, 2D works only). Work will not be accepted if these procedures are not followed. Because this show will be viewed by very young children, please note that the Young Masters Committee will not accept depictions of drug use, alcohol, gang symbols, weapons, overt sexuality and violence.
